Laparoscopy has become a commonly used minimally invasive surgical technique. It employs small incisions in the abdomen, through which a laparoscope—a thin tube with a light source—is introduced to show the internal organs. Surgical instruments are also passed through these incisions, allowing the surgeon to execute a number of procedures with
